Health Care

As a Conservative, witnessing the government impose on the people an unsustainable and crumbling health care system with the very intent on making health care unaffordable, makes my blood boil.

By deciding what health care you can have, restricting you from going to provider of your choice, and dictating which doctor you can see, the government overstepped its authority and has stripped away your right to self determination. Then they go an penalize any who do not subscribe to their system. That is unacceptable and unconstitutional.

The Obamacare fiasco is simple proof that when government is put in charge of anything, aside from what the Constitution has deemed it worthy of managing, it only makes matters worse. A government-run healthcare system spells doom for those unfortunate enough to become ensnared by its claws. It is a burden on every citizen, and eventually it will be incapable of taking care of anyone.

A cross-state, competition-based system of health care is the only one that has been proven to work effectively. With the Free Market in charge, people will actually have the freedom to choose their providers, and the health care companies will be able to compete with each other, which will bring down costs dramatically, opening up better means of health care for all.
